Author Recommendation: Jessica Ivaska

If you like spiritual writing, contemplative writing, or writing related to life and ministry, allow me to recommend the website of my sister in law, Jessica Ivaska.

I have always found Jessica’s writing to be thoughtful and profound, the product of a sensitive spirit. As the wife of a small church pastor (my brother, Erik), she also understands and sees church life from an inside perspective–though her writing is not always about ministry.

Jessica’s writing is often based on personal experience and follows especially the topics of loss, faith, and the discovery meaning. She also has some long-form content (a.k.a. books!) in the works, some of which I have been given the privilege of getting to see. Stay tuned for more info about that in the future…

But back to her writing website: Check it out!

I am a husband, father, Christian minister, and aspiring writer. I am fascinated by the challenges related to giving a personal, public witness to faith in Jesus Christ in today's culture. I believe that God speaks to us through our lives and the lives of others when we filter these life-stories through the wisdom of the Bible and the historic Christian faith.
